Congratulations Cesar Hernandez-Meraz! You have been chosen as the Ultimate DRAGON QUEST Superfan! Cesar has been part of the Dragon Quest Community for quite some time. Not only does he have a vast Dragon Quest collection (which wasn't the sole focus of this contest), but he has done a large amount of artwork, the videos of himself with his collection and the recorder video and Gilligan's Island parody, not to mention the web presence. We want to thank everyone who participated in this competition, as well as everyone in the Dragon’s Den community. We feel so lucky to have such great fans like you to help keep the DRAGON QUEST franchise alive and strong. You didn't get the chance to catch any of the summer's big conventions? Blimey, you missed out on some great DQM: Joker 2 promos and events. Two trusted Shriners made it out to San Diego Comic Con this year and brought back some impressions and photos so good I had to make a special page for it! During last weekend's Penny Arcade Expo, Nintendo had their well trained Monster Carriers prowling the grounds. Scouting them yielded you a precious monster button. Collecting three to five of them earned you some rewards from their lounge. The successful scouters bathed themselves in t-shirts, buttons, Monster Field Guide books, and got to mix n' mash their face in the DQM: Joker 2 photo booth.
Submissions will be judged by Woodus, King Zenith and Dwaine on the following criteria: Originality/creativity Skill/talent Pride/public display of DRAGON QUEST affection Knowledge of the franchise Submissions will be accepted until 10 a.m. PST on Thursday, September 15, 2011.
